FAQs

How hard is it to customize the templates?

There’s a small learning curve when it comes to resizing fonts and images, but once you practice for a short time, it will become second nature to you.

Can I sell the designs I create?

You can use my templates to create posts for your business. You cannot use my templates to 1. make your own Canva templates, 2. to offer for sale, 3. for client work. If you’d like to use them for something other than creating your own posts for your business, please contact me for a commercial license at hello (at) melissabolton.com

Is Canva free to use?

Canva has a free version with an extensive library of free images, fonts, and design elements to help you customize your templates. For more functionality and access to millions of additional design choices, consider Canva Pro. (Scroll down  to dave up to 40% on a Canva Pro subscription.)

Can I use these for client work?

You can use my products to create digital products for yourself or your own business. You cannot use my templates to make your own Canva templates to sell or to use for client work. If you’d like to use my templates to create graphics for your clients or to help market or promote any work you’re doing for clients, you’ll need to upgrade to a commercial license. Email me at hello (at) melissa bolton.com for more information.

Are the images included?

Due to copyright restrictions the images and elements are not included in the templates. Canva does, however, offer thousands of free image and fonts to help you customize.

Do you offer design help or tutorials?

I do not. The low price on these designs is reflective of the DIY nature of the project. You can find Canva tutorials aplenty on youtube and elsewhere online.

Can I edit these on my phone or tablet?

These templates were designed to be used with the desktop version of Canva. This means you are able to customize them while on a desktop or laptop. Once you’ve created your designs, you can download them to be viewed on any device.

Are these returnable?

Because you get instant access to the templates, I am unable to offer refunds in part or in full. If you have an issue downloading your design (or with anything else), please contact me at hello (at) melissabolton.com.

HOW TO SAVE ON CANVA PRO

 

While you don’t need Canva Pro to use these designs, it definitely makes life easier. You have access to millions of professional stock images and commercial fonts to make your designs even better. You can also create a brand kit with your own fonts, colors, and logo. Canva Pro is $119 per year.
